Rowing
Rowing at Brading Haven Yacht Club has become very popular, and we now have two of our own 4-oar boats, along with a growing number of keen rowers to use them. And we are always looking for more! An ideal opportunity to get some exercise, enjoy the calm waters of the Solent and learn to row as a team or become a coxswain.
Our two boats, Maggie-May and Mitre, are GRP versions of traditional River Teign boats, 7.3m (24’) in length, and can be manned by 4 or 6 oars plus a cox. Brought to the Club in early 2026, they have been refurbished by our Club members and launched in June.
If you’d like to try your hand at rowing, call in at the office or send an email.
Kayaking
and Paddle-boarding
Always popular with cadets, especially during the Cadet Activity Week and regattas, the club has a number of kayaks and paddle-boards which members can hire for the day if they don’t own their own.
